Utterly charming vintage book from the 1910s, A Third Reader by Stratton D Brook published by the American Book Co. It was first published in 1906 and this edition appears to have been published in 1910.This is for the California State text book commitee and board of education. There are charming illustrations scattered throughout as well. Green cloth hardbound. A beautiful little book. Measures about 7.5 by 5.5 .
Excellent vintage condition. Typical signs of life and yellowing of pages. The front cover is coming a bit loose from the spine. There is a name and some scribbles of two previous owners in the front and back.
