INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE
Social media posts and marketing is the use of social media platforms to connect with your audience to build your brand, keep your followers up to speed and to possibly increase awareness and sales. This involves publishing great content on your social media pages ( across IG, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and our HBC WhatsApp Groups), listening to and engaging your followers, analyzing your results, and for the ones that go viral organically, running social media advertisements only on those ones. 1. Choose the Right Social Platform and Type of Posts:
All posts are sent uniformly across our platforms daily.
We can do any of these daily:
● Content Types:
○ Subliminal Promotional (products, services, offers) usually through our
client visits ( with videos/pictures)
○ Educational (tips, how-tos, behind-the-scenes)
○ Engagement (polls, questions, trends)
○ User-generated content from the community
○ Testimonials

Content Creation
● Brand Guidelines:
○ Tone of voice: [e.g.,witty, deep with quotes, friendly]
○ Image and video attached that tell a relative story across platforms
○ Have a deep witty quote per first paragraph; in the first line
○ Clear message and call to action (CTA) right after the signature
○ Brand tone and voice that sounds like the founder
○ Use of emojis (if applicable)

2. Brand Each Account:
Visitors should be able to find your logo and company name as soon as they
see your account or right after it. Everything from your visuals to your
messaging should convey your brand’s tone and values.:
a. Make your logo and company name prominent
3. Engage And Monitor Your Audience
A highly-targeted audience is one that has the potential to drive engagement
and ultimately generate sales leads. Monitoring & Engagement
4. Engagement SOP:
a. Respond to comments and messages within 24 hours
b. Like and engage with relevant community content
c. Escalate sensitive issues to customer service or manager

5. Post Consistent, High-Quality Content
Your audience pays attention to the little details and so should you. Things to
Check For:
a. Image quality – don’t post images that are blurry, have watermarks of
other brands, pixelated, low-quality, or contain off-brand messaging
b. Video quality – all videos should be in high-resolution and present
information that your audience will appreciate and enjoy

c. Grammar – always use ChatGPT to spell check and maybe rewrite; if
you advertise your brand as being professional your shared content
needs to look professional
d. Posting frequency – make sure you’re not posting too much or too
little—there’s a balance that needs to be found; so preferable 2 posts
per day ( one will be a photo and the other a video).
